Testing conducted behind Darlings Home Care in the Midtown parking lot in designated parking places.     (Remain in your car; they will come to you.)

Gaughn’s Drug Store

• PCR via saliva test
• Turn-Around Time:  Results to the patient via email in 36-48 hours
• Available Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Procedure for signing up for a test

• Appointments and info are available on the website www.gaughns.com
• Patients must also sign up on www.rxcovidtest.com to provide demographics, insurance and symptoms etc. that demonstrates “medical necessity”  

Location of testing

• Drive up at Gaughn’s; parking space reserved on Hickory Street next to The Crossing
  • Patient calls the store upon arrival and one of our staff members will come out to administer the test
  • Overall it takes about 10-15 minutes

Cost

• Patients meeting medical necessity (3 symptoms of COVID-19 or recent exposure) have no out of pocket cost as the fee is covered 100% by insurance
  • Uninsured patients meeting medical necessity can also receive a no-cost test via the HRSA Uninsured Program similar to how the free vaccines work
  • Patients looking for travel or want a test without symptoms etc. the cost is $125

WGH Walk-In Clinic

• Rapid Antigen test (BD Veritor test)       and    PCR Test (sent to ACL)
• Nasal Swab
• 15 minute turn-around time for rapid test ; 24-48 hours for PCR at this time (may change depending on volumes)
• Available Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Starting soon with the mandate, a nurse will be performing the BD Veritor testing on non-symptomatic patients that need it for work and patients will not be seen by the WIC provider.

 Cost:  Co-pays will be collected and patient’s  insurance billed.   

Warren General Hospital (WGH)

• PCR testing
• Nasal swab test
• 24 hour for symptomatic; up to 48 hours for exposure history
• Available Monday – Friday 6:30 – 8:00 for scheduled appointments with drive-up at Entrance 3
• Doctor’s Order needed for test
• Cost: None if symptomatic or having exposure
